Are you an experienced Site Manager?Are you looking for a new challenge in a hands-on, varied role, where you can practically utilise your knowledge and experience in operations management, site maintenance and health and safety?

Responsibilities:
As Site Manager you will be responsible for leading day to day operational management of the site, ensuring a clean, safe and well maintained environment for staff and students.
- To lead and manage site facilities, equipment, systems and compliance effectively and efficiently.
- To manage any site works, maintenance and projects on site to completion, including quotations, health and safety etc.
- To be responsible for site health and safety compliance, including audits, statutory inspections and documentation.
- Ensure the school premises are maintained to a high standard and any faults or defects are resolved quickly.
- Call out for any site emergencies, ensuring site security at all times.
- Management of site team, caretakers, ensuring continual cover both during term time and school holidays.
- Contractor management and tender / contract management / renewals.
- Provision of support for the Lettings manager when required, ensuring all furniture and accommodation requests are supported.
- Ensure the School is open and staffed by the site team for all school activities and agreed lettings, including parents' evenings and occasional weekend work
- To work flexibly between school sites, if and when required.
- Oversee the 3G pitch maintenance programme
- Budget holder, including paperwork, quotations, invoicing and claims for payment
- Maintenance of the Asset Register and Lifecycle / preventative maintenance plan
- Experienced in site management and facilities management, preferably in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of health and safety and regulations.
- Staff management experience.
- Experience in general DIY and site maintenance
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet
- Good numeracy and literacy skills to at least GCSE English level
- Physical fitness, appropriate to this role
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines
- Practical, problem solving approach
- Willingness to undertake training as required by the role, including First Aider training
- Work as part of a team
- NEBOSH training
- COSHH knowledge or training
- Experience of dealing with secondary school students
- Experience of successfully building and maintenance projects and budgets
- Knowledge and experience with building systems, such as heating, lighting etc.
- Manual Handling knowledge, including heavy objects.
- Full drivers' licence
Salary & package:
£30,000
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
