Our client specializes within the Freight and Logistics industry and are a Fast Track forwarding business who have had rapid growth over the past three years.

They currently have a great opportunity for an experience Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. The position would suit an experience Purchase Ledger / Accounts assistant who is looking for their next move.

The position will be based within the Finance Department and you will report to Accounts Payable Manager. You will be responsible for providing support across all AP and finance duties


Duties and Responbilties:

  • Processing large batches of Supplier Invoices
  • Preparation of Supplier Payments
  • Processing of Supplier Credit Notes
  • Investigating invoice queries and liaising with Suppliers
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliation
  • Processing Staff Expenses
  • Ad hoc tasks

Profile:

  • Must have 3 years experience within Purchase Ledger / Accounts
  • Ideally have knowledge of Parcel Courier invoices such as Yodel, UPS, FedEx
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including V Lookup
  • Must have experience working in a fast paced accounts department
  • Good communication skills
