RTA fee earner

A leading firm in Blackburn, Lancashire specialising in Credit Hire / Personal Injury / Serious Injury / Conveyancing / Immigration / Civil, Corporate, and Criminal litigation is currently recruiting for an
RTA fee earner / Paralegal / Solicitor who will be based in Blackburn.

You must be willing to work as a team player and be prepared for a challenge

Responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload at all stages of the MOJ & OIC Portal
Preparing cases for submission to the Portal.
Updating clients.
Be able to assess quantum.
Assessing and dealing with Credit Hire Claims.
Understand and meet targets.
Understand and comply with the Civil Procedure Rules and Practice Directions.
Be able to identify issues in advance of Litigation.
Must be a strong communicator.

About you:

Must be proficient in using the MOJ and OIC Portal
Credit hire knowledge is preferable.
Be able to use your own initiative to find solutions to problems.
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail.
Exceptional organisation and timemanagement skills.
Ability to provide highlevel client care.
Excellent problemsolving skills.
Willing to research the law and have existing knowledge of the Rules and Practice Directions.
Good negotiation skills.

Experience:

MOJ Portal Fee earning: 2 years (required)
