A leading engineering group has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Supervisor to join one of its significant UK business units.

An experienced maintenance professional you will be comfortable leading a multi-disciplined team within fast paced manufacturingenvironment to ensure maximum machinery efficiency and implement continuous improvement activities across the business.


Commutable from:
Lincoln, Newark on Trent, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Boston, Grantham, Mansfield, Worksop.

Salary:
£ 40,000 - £ 43,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role


Working on a double day shift pattern (Monday to Friday), you will be responsible for leading a multiskilled maintenance team ensuring downtime of machinery is kept to a minimum.

The role also focuses on continually improving the reliability of key machinesby taking a proactive approach to preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Plan & control the work for a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers on a day-to-day basis.

Implement and control the preventive maintenance plan.

To continuously improve machines and services to increase efficiency.

Give technical direction and support to the Maintenance Engineers.

Develop and manage a TPM schedule.

Lead and communicate actions and status on a daily basis within the production meeting.

Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.


With a background in Maintenance you must have proven experience of leading a team within a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment.

Must be comfortable working hands on when the need arises and have a multiskilled background.

With a good understandingof best practice, you will have excellent people skills with the ability to get the best out of a team.
