ABOUT US:

Abbey Support & Sevices is a domiciliary care company, providing person centred care, door to door. Our aim is to provide excellent and dignified care and allow individuals to maintain their independence at home.


SUITABILITY

  • Must already be living in Leicester, England, UK. We cannot provide sponsorship.
  • Must speak English fluently.
  • Must have access to your own transport, car, electric bike or scooter.
  • Must be available some early mornings, late evenings & weekends.

URGENTLY HIRING:

We are hiring individuals who meet the following Criteria:

  • Available to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 11am. Must be able to travel to LE4 9. Must Speak good English and also Gujarati.
  • Available to work Monday to Sunday 8pm to 10pm. Must be able to travel to LE5 2 & LE7 9. Must speak English fluently.
  • Available to work shifts throughout the day. Must be able to travel to LE3 0 & LE3 2. Must speak good English & also Punjabi.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:


  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
