ABOUT US:
Abbey Support & Sevices is a domiciliary care company, providing person centred care, door to door. Our aim is to provide excellent and dignified care and allow individuals to maintain their independence at home.
SUITABILITY
- Must already be living in Leicester, England, UK. We cannot provide sponsorship.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Must have access to your own transport, car, electric bike or scooter.
- Must be available some early mornings, late evenings & weekends.
URGENTLY HIRING:
We are hiring individuals who meet the following Criteria:
- Available to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 11am. Must be able to travel to LE4 9. Must Speak good English and also Gujarati.
- Available to work Monday to Sunday 8pm to 10pm. Must be able to travel to LE5 2 & LE7 9. Must speak English fluently.
- Available to work shifts throughout the day. Must be able to travel to LE3 0 & LE3 2. Must speak good English & also Punjabi.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
- Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
The specific responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the individuals being cared for and the setting in which the care is provided.
