PRINCIPAL DATA ANALYST

London - Hybrid

£65, ,000 + bonus

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a high-growth financial services company specialising in motor lending.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Data Analyst to join an established Data team and provide insights on key KPIs and metrics that directly influence businessdecisions.


THE ROLE:


As the Principal Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of Analytics to support each of the Analysts embedded within the commercial teams.

You will also be responsible for educating end-users on how to interpret the data as well as optimisingdashboards in Looker and Tableau.


You will:

  • Engage with stakeholders and understand their commercial and data requirements
  • Standardise and monitor key metrics and KPIs across all commercial areas of the business.
  • Develop dashboards in Tableau (and/or Looker)
  • Act as the main analytical SME and support endusers with data literacy.

REQUIREMENTS:

You will requir

e:

  • At least 35 years in a BI/ Data Analytics role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience managing a data team
  • Knowledge of KPIs and metrics within the financial sector (essential)
  • Modern BI stack (i

e:
Snowflake, AWS, Fivetran, dbt, etc)

  • Tableau, Looker, and Power BI
  • SQL
  • Python or R for statistical modelling (ideal)
