The role


We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate professional to join us as a Family Support Practitioner to work with the Hospice's Bereavement and Community Volunteer teams to provide a comprehensive service to patients and their families.

St.

Richard's Hospice provides free specialist palliative and end of life care for adults in South Worcestershire with a life limiting condition through our community teams, our newly developed state-of-the-art Living Well centre and our seventeen beds.

We offer care and encouragement to our patients, enabling them to take control of their lives as their condition changes and also offer support to their families and carers.


About you


A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or counselling and previous experience of working with patients and their families and bereaved individuals are essential requirements for this role whilst training in bereavement and loss and experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team would be advantageous.
