Course Administrator needed in London for a temp contract paying £16 per hour.


Job Purpose

The Course administrator will be responsible for being on the ground at our partner locations, ensuring everything is running smoothly and being BtB's 'eyes and ears' to ensure we respond to risks and opportunities with partners to ensure the project is successful.


Key Responsibilities

  • Be present at sites across London for the duration of the course (varies throughout programme) to support programme delivery, learners, lecturers and deal with any administrative issues and requirements
  • Respond to student queries, coordinating between delivery partners where appropriate as lead delivery partner
  • Observe classes on an ad hoc basis to highlight any issues with attendance or behaviour of participants, feedback to delivery partners any risks, issues or areas of improvement and form a view of programme delivery
  • Support with the management of the learner platform, including, pulling reports, and managing user accounts and ensure the highest standards of data management
  • Monitor the register of learner attendance, reporting attendance numbers and confirming with delivery partners the status of individuals, e.g lateness, if they will be returning. Work with partners to ensure all avenues of retention are pursued under the programme remit
  • Support in the gathering of information for monthly, quarterly and biannually reporting
  • Ad hoc items as required

What we are looking for

  • Proven working experience in project coordination and/or delivery
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including delivery partners to ensure high quality delivery of programmes in a learning environment
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively, build effective working relationships and lead crossfunctional teams, across multiple delivery partners
  • Ability to identify risk and address or escalate accordingly
  • London based, or ability to travel daily to London given project delivery location.

Desirable experience

  • Background in higher education or social mobility projects.
  • Experience working in a learning environment desirable
  • Event coordination or administration
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
