At JNHG we specialise in support for young people 12+ with Mental Health Needs, Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviour, Trauma and Autism.

We are looking for an experienced Senior support worker and team leader who has the drive and enthusiasm to support the manager and support workers in our new homes in the following locations; Bloxwich, Great Barr, Little Aston and Walsall.

We have 5 CQC registered homes, with 2 out of the 5 have been rated Good in All areas, with the other 3 homes awaiting inspection.

You will be committed and be driven to offer the highest possible standards of care while managing and overseeing the day to day duties of the home.

In this role you will provide leadership on all issues relating to Coordinating and coaching staff to ensure that effective care services are provided, quality standards are continually improved and clinical outcomes are recorded and measured.

You will ensure that your team is well supported and happy in their jobs, as this will help them to provide the best care for our residents.

You will also need to be passionate about providing high quality care, ensuring the lives of residents are continually enriched.

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker & Team Leader who:
Experienced in working with young people
Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
Has broad experience with social care of managing people, service and quality within a residential care home
Demonstrates positive values
Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
Holds a NVQ level 3 and above in Health and Social Care
Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice


Essential:
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred services
Sound knowledge of person-centred planning, staff management/development

A full UK driving licence
Offer;
Salary depending on experience £28k to £40k per annum
