As part of our wider care team you'll have a key role to play in the wellbeing of those who use our service.

Responsible for preparing appetising meals you will have a passion for cooking and will want to deliver great menus that deliver variety and nutrition.


however, you also have a role to play in supporting our service users, working alongside them and helping them to develop their skills in meal preparation.

We also have a training kitchen where you can organise cooking classes, developing our service users cooking skills and equipping them with basic food hygiene awareness and safety in the kitchen ahead of move on to a tenancy of their own.

Its a demanding role, but you will have lots of support and quality training to make a success of it.


Requirements:

You are a capable, experienced cook with a cooking qualification. In addition, you are a caring person who knows the vital role mealtimes play in the lives of others. Ideally, you've already got some experience, but more important is your enthusiasm and commitment to food. You're well organised and a good team player.
