Azure Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Analyst - MS Azure, IaaC/Azure DevOps Services, IaaS, PaaS; Azure Virtual Machines (Servers), O365, ADP/GPo/Azure AD, Hyper-V, Powershell, CLI, BAU Support/Project Work.

Permanent, West London / Remote (1 Day per weekonsite; 4 days remote). £85k - £90k +Benefits

Azure Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Analyst required by leading A/V solution provider to global financial services organisations and the public sector.

You will join the infrastructure delivery team and provide support, architectural development and systemsenhancement (project delivery) within both on-prem datacentre environments as well as public cloud (Azure, AWS) environments.

Whilst there will be some elements of solution design and architecture, this is a mix support/project focussed engineering role which requires hands on experience of complex, global Wintel server infrastructure as well as Azure cloud infrastructure environments.

You will effectively lead a number of major infrastructure engineering/overhaul projects (implementing IaaC & Azure DevOps Services) from a hands-on engineering perspective and provide guidance and mentoring to the rest of the engineering team as these projectsare rolled out.

Working within the infrastructure engineering team the Azure Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Analyst will lead the architectural design (from a hands-on perspective) and deployment of on-prem Wintel infrastructure comprising Windows Server, VMWare, Hyper-V,SQL, DNS, InTune servers etc.

as well as infrastructure deployed within the AWS and Azure public cloud. Configuration and deployment of AD/GPo/AzureAD, O365 environments, DNS servers, Virtual Machines/Hypervisors and deployment of services such as SQL Serveretc. will form a major part of the role.

As a lead engineer you will use your experience in Powershell to automate tasks and deploy services within the cloud.

You will act as a point of escalation for 3rd line BAU support and advise other team members as required.

The goal is for the environment to be upgraded and migrations to a hybrid configuration with IaaC deployed across the Azure cloud environment; you will lead this activity from a hands-on perspective.

We are searching for an Azure Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Analyst / Wintel Engineer / Cloud Engineer who can demonstrate a broad range of infrastructure engineering experience in both onprem and cloud based environments, incorporating Windows Server,AD/GPo/AzureAD, MS Exchange/O365, Azure Virtual Machines, Hyper-V, VMWare, LAN/WAN Networks, Administration Portal and experience scripting in Powershell.

You will possess solid Azure experience (combined ideally with some AWS and/or GCP exposure) and haveexperience of solutions design and guidance along with hands-on delivery expertise in both on-prem and Azure cloud environments with demonstratbel experience of delivering IaaC environments within Azure (Terraform, Azure DevOps Services, Bicep etc)

You will be comfortable working in high availability environments and capable of guiding an organisation away technical debt issues whilst considering security requirements.

MCSA Cloud Platform & Infrastructure or equivalent preferred. Exceptional communicationskills are pre-requisite.
