James Stevens Associates are delighted to be working with a highly commercial, innovative and sizeable Housing Association that are now looking to bolster their Health & Safety Team with a new Health & Safety Advisor:

Health and Safety Advisor (Hybrid) outline:

Chippenham OR West Bromwich
Hybrid role

- £40,000 - £44,500 plus essential car allowance

Ideally experience within Housing OR a Health Care setting (Not essential)

About the Health and Safety Advisor (Hybrid) role:

The post holder will be the main point of contact with staff and managers in their designated business area in relation to Health & Safety in the workplace and provide technical and specialist guidance, direction, and support.
You will ensure that policies and procedures relevant to specific areas of Health and Safety responsibility are developed and maintained as part of the Health and Safety Management System, ensuring that legal requirements and good practice are observed and kept under review
Within the role, you will also be required to carry out health and safety audits and inspections, which will require travel to various workplaces and provide written reports to the Head of Health and Safety and operational managers as required.

Health and Safety Advisor (Hyrbid) - About you:

It is essential you hold a current NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
You will have relevant experience of providing Health and Safety advice and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and other relevant legislation.
Experience of working in the construction or housing sector would be beneficial for this role.
You will be required to deliver high quality results in a timely manner, and have the ability to plan, organise and successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously with timeliness and accuracy.
