Job description:


  • This role is for a fulltime Business Support Officer to manage a small, but busy Corporate Support Team. This team has a remit support across all areas of Defence Digital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, selfmotivated individual with a friendly disposition, possessing good communication skills with a customer focussed mindset.

Person specification:


You will need to be confident and able to work under pressure whilst always remaining polite and courteous and will need to have the ability to use a degree of initiative, and the ability to retain information to prioritise daily duties.


Please note, this is a customer facing position and you will be expected to attend the Corsham office at least 3 days a week.

Flexibility in the role is key, you will need to be able to adopt a very flexible approach to the varied tasks assigned to you able to adapt your working pattern or to help the wider Ops CSG and CBS Teams in busy periods.


Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible as Deputy Electronic Purchasing Card (ePC) Manager for all card holders across DD (Defence Digital), ensuring you are aware of all emerging issues and policy changes to be cascaded to card holders. You will work with Defence Commercial ePC Mentors, who are there to advise and support you in this role.
  • Management of ePC and other low value purchasing systems for Defence Digital including all stationery, printer peripherals, staff training costs and professional subscriptions. Maintenance of accurate records for all tasks to ensure compliance.
  • DD Fuel Card Manager, maintenance of accurate records.
  • Management of all classified media (USBs and CDs etc.) for Corsham based DD staff.
  • Management of MODNET Laptop reprocessing, day to day processing of returned, break fix and courier laptops and assisting DD personnel with laptop issues as required.
  • Management of Eye Care Voucher, thank you Award and Stationery processing, ensuring a timely service to customers.
  • Training and mentoring of existing and new staff in the purchasing team. You will be responsible for the line management, training and mentoring of 4 administrators.
