We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our dynamic team.

We are a UK-based company with a fantastic team of industry experts.


The main duties of the role are as follows:
To work within the accounts credit control team to support the resolution of account collection queries

To specifically monitor the collection of outstanding balances within an allocated portfolio of customers

Help to work towards and achieve monthly collection targets

To establish and maintain effective lines of communication with customers

Contacting customers via telephone to ascertain reasons for an overdue balance

Answering customer queries and ensuring a timely response to queries

Assist in accounts receivable admin tasks, including escalation for customer invoicing

Working within the accounts team on other projects to improve cash collection and any other ad-hoc tasks when required

Liaising with Partners/Associates regarding outstanding debt, providing assistance to them in order to resolve outstanding queries and in turn speed up the payment process

Keeping accurate and up to date records of all debt chasing, using experience and judgment to ensure that items are followed up and escalated at the appropriate points in time

Working to monthly collection targets aimed at continually improving both the debtor day and 30/60/90-day debt profiles


What you will be doing:

Previous credit control experience of at least 1 year

Educated to A level or equivalent

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks, and have a collaborative nature

Helpful, flexible, pro-active approach to work, a team player with a willingness to tackle both new and routine tasks

Enthusiastic, reliable, and self-confident, with an excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills

Confident in addressing and escalating matters with colleagues in order to resolve underlying issues

£24,000.00 per year
