Beechwood Cancer Care is a Charity that offers psychological support, counselling, support groups and holistic therapies to those affected by cancer and cancer related bereavement.
We are looking for a highly motivated Children & Young People's Counsellor to join our Family Counselling Team, with demonstratable knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of outreach support within the community.
This is a new and exciting role for the Charity, which requires forward thinking and confidence in developing the outreach service, with a focus on working with schools.
You will have proven experience in building strong relationships with external stakeholders, together with compassion and empathy for young people affected by cancer and bereavement.
You will possess excellent communication skills both as a counsellor, and in delivering brief interventions and bite size training to professionals working with children impacted by cancer.

£26,628.00-£28,860.00 per year
