Building Services Operative Responsibilities:


  • Carry out skilled maintenance work and minor repairs.
  • Assist with maintenance duties such as general carpentry, plumbing, painting, reglazing, unblocking sinks, changing locks, changing light bulbs, replacing tap washers, easing doors etc.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with schedules.
  • Participate in an oncall rota.

Building Services Operative Requirements:


  • Previous relevant experience of maintenance and repairs ideally within a facilities/building services environment.
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Able to participate in an oncall rota.
