Description

We are looking for an experienced Weighbridge operative to start working for one of our reputable clients in the area of Barry, South Wales.

This position is a full time, long term position.

The role will include, but is not limited to;

Previous experience within transport and logistics would be an advantage along with Excellent IT/Administrative skills.

Weighbridge functions

Weighing vehicles in/out, issuing of loading and delivery tickets to drivers, loading and delivery ticket reconciliation to ensure quality and legal compliance is met, updating of loading board.
Aiding SW Planners with raising/amending customer orders within SAP / FP / VAS IT systems, Validate all orders within FP, logging of return product and nil deliveries, answering customer/driver phone calls and updating/logging customer out of hours board, assisting with driver wages, POD/Invoice queries along with general admin duties.
Working with the Despatch Controller to undertake
Audits, Compliance checks, creation and monitoring of KPI's/graphs, trend analysis, Continuous Improvements idea's along with taking and distributing meeting notes.

You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern

Shifts include:
4am-2pm

8am-6pm

2pm-12am

6pm-4am

You will also be required to work one Saturday & one Sunday on a rotating basis.

Hourly rate is £11.31 per hour with paid breaks for day rates

Hourly rate is £12.50 per hour with paid breaks for night rate (6pm-4am shift)

Weekend rate is £13.00 per hour with paid breaks

Parking on site, weekly pay, online payslips, holiday pay, sick pay, pension after a qualified period

Access to transport would be advantageous due to the location of the job.

Salary:
£11.31-£13.00 per hour
