HCMUK are excited to announce this rewarding opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to join us as
Mobile Plant Fitter in the
Port Talbot area As a vital member of our team, this individual will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant machinery.


Responsibilities:


  • Carrying out scheduled machine servicing at customer sites.
  • Troubleshooting and faultfinding.
  • Showing a strong attention to detail and resolving of any issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standard and on time.
  • Ensuring that service reports and timesheets are completed correctly and submitted on time.
  • Liaising with other support staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Test repaired machinery for proper functioning.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Essential_
  • Must have valid UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent diagnostic and reporting skills
  • Proven track record working on modern hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders
  • Experience in troubleshooting modern hydraulic systems and diesel engines
  • Excellent IT skills with a strong ability to analyse fault code data
  • Experience working on largescale mobile earthmoving equipment in a quarry environment
  • Preferred_
  • A 'Quarry and Safety Passport' and an IPAF card.
