The job itself:

East Riding of Yorkshire Council's 0-25 SEND Team is looking for applicants for the post of Community Short Breaks Worker.

This newly created role will serve a vital purpose in ensuring that the local authority is able to support children and young people with an assessed need, following a social care assessment, to receive a short break.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at a time of great development within the council's specialist services, supporting children and young people with additional needs, as well as their families, to access the support that they require.

You will be part of a highly motivated and exceptionally skilled team that are dedicated in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Hours vary from hours.
