Weekends only - Saturday and Sunday

We are looking for a Weekend Kitchen Porter to work as a team responsible for checking deliveries and quality of goods and to comply with company and client policies of quality and standards of excellence at the unit.

Main Duties:

Assist in preparation of vegetables when required
To check accuracy of deliveries.
To record the delivery temperatures, where applicable, and reject if necessary according to regulations.
To store all deliveries as quickly as possible in relevant areas using stock rotation methods.
To keep the delivery area clean and tidy and free from waste.
To wash all hand wash items.
To monitor the Use of chemicals and report any low stock items to the Chef/Manager.
Complete general kitchen cleaning duties as per rota.
Sweep and scrub/mop kitchen floor.
To deal with basic paperwork.
To participate in all arranged company training to improve personal development both in the job and within the company.

What you will need to be successful:

Similar experience in a previous role
Ability to follow policy and procedures
