Weekends only - Saturday and Sunday


We are looking for a Weekend Kitchen Porter to work as a team responsible for checking deliveries and quality of goods and to comply with company and client policies of quality and standards of excellence at the unit.


Main Duties:


  • Assist in preparation of vegetables when required
  • To check accuracy of deliveries.
  • To record the delivery temperatures, where applicable, and reject if necessary according to regulations.
  • To store all deliveries as quickly as possible in relevant areas using stock rotation methods.
  • To keep the delivery area clean and tidy and free from waste.
  • To wash all hand wash items.
  • To monitor the Use of chemicals and report any low stock items to the Chef/Manager.
  • Complete general kitchen cleaning duties as per rota.
  • Sweep and scrub/mop kitchen floor.
  • To deal with basic paperwork.
  • To participate in all arranged company training to improve personal development both in the job and within the company.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Similar experience in a previous role
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures
