The duties and responsibilities of this role include: (But not limited to)

  • You would take a lead role in ensuring the planning and development of innovative clinical services, supporting, and advising clinicians and our interdisciplinary team.
  • We are looking for a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist / Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join the team in our highly regarded service working with people with Brain Injury.
  • This post is required to further develop our holistic neurobehavioural services in line with changing clinical and commissioning needs.
  • This post holder will develop leadership and clinical skills in working with governance and operational management to support development of our clinical MDT team.
  • Significant clinical neuroscience/neurorehabilitation experience and expertise is required with good team and leadership skills.
  • You would also join our Clinical Executive, an international team of clinicians, who are involved in research and new projects; they share their knowledge and provide support to fellow members, working together to ensure services remain excellent and innovative.

About You
Post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology (or its equivalent) accredited by the BPS.

  • Qualification as Practitioner Full Member of the BPS QICN qualification in Neuropsychology; or within 12 months of completion of Qualification; or substantial experience as a Clinical Psychologist working in Neuropsychology
  • Registered as a clinical psychologist with HCPC
  • Any other relevant advanced specialist training/qualifications in the skills relevant to the specialty area judged to meet the BPS standards for Consultant grade by National External Assessment.
  • Clinical supervision training for Doctoral trainees.
  • Breakaway training or equivalent.
