We are seeking to appoint teaching assistants to work with all the young people in our care at Stocklake Park School.

Working as part of a team you will provide the support enabling all of our students to achieve the greatest possible level of independence and inclusion.

Salary:
Bucks Pay Range 1 Point 6-10. Approximate gross salary £12,736 to £13,373 per annum (pro rata). FTE £18,522 to £19,448 per annum


Contract:
Permanent, term time only plus INSET days


Hours: 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3.30pm

About the role:


Working under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior class staff this rewarding, and sometimes challenging role, will include supporting our students to access and engage with teacher led curriculum and learning activities.

Assisting with personal care, attending to hygiene needs and administering medication are also key tasks. Comprehensive training is provided as appropriate to the role and continued professional development of our staff is encouraged.

About you:


We are looking for people who have an appreciation of the positive attitudes needed to encourage independence in our students.


You will be able to communicate with all members of our school community liaising with other professionals in order to carry out recommendations required.


A good working knowledge of ICT to be able to effectively support learning and a commitment to training is expected.
