Description

The post-holder will train to become part of the team responsible for the efficient and effective provision of the Non-Medical endoscopy service.

They will work with the MDT to ensure the development, management and delivery of a high quality general and specialist endoscopy provision.

The post holder will perform diagnostic upper and lower GI endoscopic procedures, in accordance with defined protocols and following completion of the SEETA training programme.

Working with their supervising clinician, the post holder will identify the need for and request, further investigations as appropriate and advise on further investigations as required.


The post holder will support all clinicians working within the specialty area and work closely with the existing compliment of Non-Medical Endoscopists and the Service Manager on service strategy and development.

The post holder be expected to return a minimum of 3 years service to RSFT as a Non-Medical Endoscopist upon successful completion of training.
