One Broker (part of the Jensten Group) are pleased to be recruiting an additional Account Handler to join our existing Commercial Broking team in Cambridge.

Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available in line with the company smart working Policy on completion of probation.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:

Checking new policy documentation for accuracy and forwarding to clients or liaising with insurers
Negotiating and inviting renewal of allocated client's policies
Ensuring all Client records reflect the current risk on cover at all time including accuracy of sums insured, perils, excesses, extensions and exclusions
Provide support for Senior Account Executives as and when required in obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover
Processing midterm adjustments and quarterly declarations
Dealing with clients' day to day enquiries on a daily basis, responding promptly and managing expectations
Maintaining effective diary system
Liaising with Claims dept over claims queries / reports

About You

As a Trainee Account Handler you will need to have strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and good time management skills.

Other skills/requirements:

A desire to work towards CII Qualifications (essential)
A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A sincere interest in developing a career within the insurance/broking sector
Work experience in a professional Office environment (advantageous but not essential)
