About our Family
We are looking for a caring, reliable, trustworthy individual to join our successful team as a full time administration support assistant.
The position is currently available, the hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with the occasional reception weekend cover for holiday.
We are a well-established, privately owned, small family run group of care homes with over 40 years of heritage. We have grown in size over the years due to our outstanding successes.We are proud to provide outstanding care to our residents, and have 4 outstanding care homes, 2 nursing and 2 residential.
What's on offer for you - Generous rate of pay from
£14.70 Monday to Friday to £15.70 per hour on weekends. Annual discretionary performance bonus.
Staff recommendation bonus up to
£1000. Annual leave equivalent entitlement 5.6 weeks annually based on full time. Study support and ongoing personal development. HR and wellbeing support. To provide information about Woodlands, Hill Brow, Hill House and Farnham Mill to the general public, relatives, residents, other professionals and colleagues.
We are looking for someone -
- With excellent communication and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Answer telephone, screening, and direct calls professionally and in a timely fashion.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to multitask, in a busy office environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Assist team members with administrative support as needed.
- Monitor and order stationary as well other consumables.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and follow all GDPR guidelines.
- Create a warm and welcoming office environment that fosters positivity and productivity for all team members and visitors.
- Supporting our HR Advisor with onboarding new starters and ensure they are setup on our systems with the right documentation and information to start their role.
- Review and implement efficiencies / upgrades to office experience and overall office functionality.
- Organising the maintenance of office equipment including all electronics and ensuring their smooth functioning.
- Running workrelated errands and adhoc tasks.
- Support management by delivering high standards of presentation at all times.
- Enrich the lives of the residents in the home and their families, by being part of the team that provides excellent personalised care.
We would like you;
- To be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills.
- To be knowledgeable in Customer Service skills.
- To always work to a personal ethos of 'do your best to be the best'.
- To be computer literate, competent in Word and Outlook i.e. familiar with Excel and Publisher.
- To have empathy for our residents, treat them as if they were your own family.
- Be happy to communicate well with all others.
- To have the ability to work well in a team.
- To have the ability to work in an environment that can be faced paced, requiring a proactive attitude
- To be able to provide proof to work in the UK.
- To be able to provide two previous work references.
