We are a small cake company based in North Greenwich looking for an experienced cake baker to work maternity cover from now until summer 2024.
The role will require someone who really loves to bake, who is self sufficient as the job will require working some of the time alone, and be good at problem-solving.
It will involve baking cakes from scratch, making doughnuts, monitoring stock and making ingredients lists, decorating cakes, packing and organising cakes for markets and washing up and cleaning.
You will initially work on a part-time basis alongside one other baker until she goes on maternity leave in summer 2023; you will then work alone and sometimes with another baker full-time while being good at communicating promptly and effectively with the owner regarding last minute orders, instructions and information.

Part-time hours: 20-45 per week
Salary:
£15.50-£16.50 per hour
