You will gain experience of delivering top quality first and second line support to the Alderley Group, working to agreed service levels and acting as an interface between the technology and the staff.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the user community in all IT requirements, whilst meeting agreed services levels and delivering excellent customer service
- Management of hardware and software installing, preparing IT equipment for new staff members, fulfilling software/hardware upgrade/installation requests where required
- Assisting support team with handson local support where required
- Completing various technical business driven projects to agreed specification and deadlines as required
- Updating other team members on project progress and presenting information for sharing and learning purposes at team meetings
- Occasional out of hours and weekend availability to cover operational requirements
You will need the following skills:
- Effective problem-solver with good analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Motivated selfstarter able to organise and work on own initiative
- Accountable for own performance and takes pride in own work
- Well organised and able to cope with multiple tasks and priorities

- Microsoft Office Suites
- Microsoft Operating Systems

- General IT/Technical Knowledge

- Ability to follow detailed procedures
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Working week:
37.5 hours per week,
Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure full-time employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
