An exciting opportunity for newly qualified accountant who would like to step into a growing, London based Project Finance house with strong expansion plans in a multi - faceted role.

The role will encompass providing expert advice on the principles andcalculation of accounting and taxation incorporated into financial models.

This role would ideally suit newly qualified accountants looking for their first move out of practice working with a company that offers excellent training and career progression alongside the chance to become to be an expert in your field.

Day to Day Duties of the Role:

Reviewing Financial models delivered by other firms to ensure UK GAAP or IFRS, UK Tax Legislation and HMRC current practices are being followed compliantly.
Reviewing Financial models delivered by other firms, alongside an overseas specialist, or reviewing advice already received from the client against modelled assumptions, to ensure overseas GAAP and overseas Tax Legislation are being followed compliantly.
Reviewing Audit working papers delivered by the analytical team.
Providing accurate and relevant advice on calculations, ensuring the correct implementation of regulations and principles across a wide scope of financial models representing commercial transactions
Presenting up to date accounting and taxation knowledge to clients and colleagues

Skills and Qualifications:

Recognised Accounting Qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA (ACA preferred but not mandatory)

Desirable:

CTA qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

Experience of VAT, indirect taxes and property tax issues would be an advantage, but is not essential.
