About the RoleAims:
Cornwall Mind is a charity with aspirations for considerable growth. This important new post will play a pivotal role overseeing all outreach projects for which Cornwall Mind is responsible.
The main purpose of the job is:
- To provide day to day line management and supervision to a small but growing team or Outreach Project Workers.
- To represent Cornwall Mind at partner meetings relating to outreach projects.
- To ensure that Cornwall Mind prioritises the wellbeing of our Outreach Project Workers and enables them to thrive.
- To identify opportunities for greater collaboration / efficiency in the outreach projects landscape.
Overall Responsibilities
1.1 Oversee the day-to-day management for all Outreach Project Workers, devolving the delivery of projects to individual Outreach Project Workers.
1.2 To be the first point of contact for all Outreach Project Workers and ensure they receive the day to day support they require.
1.4 To provide individual Outreach Project Workers with support, advice and guidance on individual cases including safeguarding issues.
1.5 Ensure all staff in the project team have regular 1:1 supervision relating to case loads but also staff support and wellbeing.
1.6 Ensure all project related safeguarding concerns are addressed in accordance with best practice and Outreach Project Workers feel supported in this.
1.8 Support the Senior management Team with the mobilisation of the Lamplight Content Management System, including monitoring data quality for projects as the system evolves.
1.9 To ensure all client information collected when delivering projects is managed in strict accordance with Cornwall Minds information governance policies.
1.11 To priorities the wellbeing of all Outreach Project Workers and ensure their learning and development needs are monitored and reported to Senior Managers.
Expectations
2.1 To abide by all company policies and procedures and within legal frameworks e.g. safeguarding.
2.2 To support the senior management team in developing new projects.
2.3 To ensure equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion principles are incorporated in the planning, delivery and monitoring of services.
2.4 To monitor and evaluate the work of Cornwall Mind, reporting to the Operations Manager.
2.5 To maintain and develop networks, attend key meetings and developing collaborative working opportunities with partner agencies.
2.6 To promote the work of Cornwall Mind through structured marketing, to include publicising services, promoting new projects, and all collaborative work.
2.8 Any other duties/tasks as agreed with the Operations Manager and CEO.
Contract length: 1 Year
