Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Property Surveyor with a successful track record in the Housing sector to assist the Repairs Manager in providing an efficient and effective responsive repairs and maintenance service.

You will be required to organise works orders in relation to properties, ensuring efficiency and high standards and manage the delivery of the repairs surveying service to ensure a consistent approach to repairs whilst ensuring high service standards are met.

Knowledge and appreciation of Building Surveying techniques
Knowledge and experience of Housing regulatory standards, including Decent Homes standards, HHSRS and the Fitness for Human Act 201
Knowledge of Housing disrepair and the ability to deal with a case load of disrepair related works and legal aspects
Extensive construction and technical knowledge including building repairs, and housing maintenance related issues.
At least 5 years proven ability in a similar role or within a surveying or project management field
A Higher National Certificate in Construction or equivalent related qualification.
Worked within a Housing environment, either for a Contractor or Social Housing provider or local authority or equivalent
A degree in a Construction/Building Surveying related field
PCA Accredited qualifications in Damp and Timber treatment
