This role involves:
To support the Sales Managers in developing the knowledge, skills and ultimately the performance of the Mortgage Consultants under their control.
To support mortgage consultants and sales management within the business in achieving and maintaining competence in line with the Company's Training & Competence Scheme.
To provide support to the Divisional Mortgage Services Director and Head of Mortgage Services Training.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery and support with Mortgage Consultants Induction Programme to include Centrally controlled Foundation Course and ongoing Divisional mortgage services training in both remote and face to face environments.
- Provide training and support to subsidiaries as required
- Ensure the content/structure/delivery of Divisional Training is up to date and meets regulatory and internal advice standards.
- Work closely with Head of Mortgage Services Training to ensure consistency in the delivery of centrally issued training
- Support the effective implementation of the Group's Training & Competence Scheme at all times.

Background, Experience and Qualifications:
- 2 years plus experience in a Mortgage Services Consultant/Management role, ideally within an estate agency / retail environment.
- Proven track record in motivating and influencing sales people in a customer facing environment.
- Good perspective of financial services, estate agency and retail developments including latest technology developments.
- Relevant Professional qualifications to fulfil the role e.g. minimum Certificate in Mortgage advice and practice (CeMAP) or industry recognised equivalent, preferred Diploma qualification/ QCF Level four exam standards.
- Understanding of all legislation impacting on a Financial Services business, specifically a mortgage & protection business
