AMS Contracting Ltd is a family-run Sports Turf contracting business carrying out the construction & maintenance of natural sports turf surfaces.

We are based in Chichester, West Sussex. We offer our services to West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire, Devon, Surrey, Kent & London Boroughs.

We are looking for a skilled tractor driver/machinery operator who is looking for a new challenge and can operate various pieces of machinery to a high standard.

Applicant requirements;

• Must have high levels of experience on agricultural machinery
• Full UK driving licence
• Valid CSCS Card
• Willingness to travel daily and work away in busy periods
• Workshop skills are an advantage
• Operate a 360 excavator to a good standard
• Knowledge of agricultural GPS systems

This role will include;

• Operating land drainage equipment
• Cultivating sports turf surfaces
• Operate 360 excavator (2t 21t)
• Carry out sports turf maintenance operations
• Daily thorough machinery maintenance
• Operating telehandlers
• Winter workshop duties
• Landscaping

• Practical, ideally with good workshop skills, able to repair simple faults & maintain machinery
• Conscientious and careful with machinery and tools.
• Can follow health and safety systems to a high level
• Speak fluent English
• Be willing to work long hours when required
• Be physically fit and in good health
• Willing to work overtime and weekends in busy periods.
