Description

We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a High Needs Student Co-ordinator to become a key member of our Additional Support department.

As a High Needs Student Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Assessing and planning high quality support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) receiving High Needs Funding (HNF).
  • Undertaking the assessment of students with an EHCP and identify appropriate levels of support in line with assessed need.
  • Undertaking students annual reviews in line with statutory duties
  • Maintaining close links with curriculum areas to support and review students' progress on an ongoing basis
  • Supporting students transition into college and in line with students aspirations and working collaboratively with curriculum areas
  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

Contract Type - Bedford College Professional Services

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays)
