We are searching for an enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join our award-winning HR Consultancy and kick start their career in Finance.

This is a home-based role with 1 day a week at College and 1 day a week collaborating with the team in our shared offices (Duxford, Cambridgeshire and Bury St Edmunds).

Working in the HR industry, we are passionate about our people, and they are always atthe heart of everything we do.

We are used to a hybrid working environment and have been working this way for 6 years as we feel it gives our team ultimate flexibility and attracts the best people.

The role

As our Finance Apprentice, you will be supporting our Finance Manager and Finance Assistant, gaining experience in all areas of finance.

By the end of your Apprenticeship, you will have a strong commercial awareness, as well as the skills and knowledge tocomplete the following key tasks;

Bank reconciliations
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Processing of company expenses
Credit Control
Maintenance of accounting package
Onboarding customers and suppliers

Requirements:

We know you might not yet have lots of work experience, but we are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and growing, loves being part of a team, has a keen interest in how businesses run and has a real head for numbers.

In terms of your studies, you will be educated to GSCE level with good results in Maths, Science and English fields (minimum C / 5 grade).
