ROLE

Salary:
£30k-£40k

The Strategist role will be key to Disrupt's continued success and growth moving forward.

In this role, you'll deliver an expert understanding of Disrupt's services, packaged in a concise, informative, and engaging style through presentations and documents provided to prospects and clients.


Your role will cover both new business (working closely with the MD and Senior Business Development Manager), supporting increasing our new business win rate through strategic narratives in proposals, and the existing client portfolio (working closely with the AD) and identifying opportunities there.


You'll be confident in delivery and able to adapt your pitching approach to different personality types and levels of stakeholders.

You'll also be able to tailor your strategies to gain buy in from a range of stakeholders, from marketing managers up to CEOs.


You will support the team in kicking off effectively with the client and create check-in points to ensure that our live strategies are in line with client objectives.

In this way, you will also help with the retention and up-selling of Disrupt's clients.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


As a Strategist, you will support the MD, AD and BDM in leading digital strategies for both new business pitches and existing clients.


Your areas of responsibility will cover:

  • Joining meetings with potential and existing client stakeholders to understand their challenges and objectives.
  • Researching demand, challenges, opportunities, and audiences to create insights which feed through to channel strategy and recommendation within our proposals.
  • Supporting the MD and Senior BDM in developing digital strategies for pitches, focussing on developing succinct and engaging strategies which lead to closed new business opportunities.
  • Briefing and managing the team's delivery of strategy and tactical sections within proposals.
  • Being creative Helping share creative ideas as part of the the pitch process for new and existing clients.
  • Owning the insights section at pitch, delivering insights in face to face or remote meetings with potential prospects, and influencing our close rate across new business.
  • Working closely with the AD and wider AM team to identify opportunities with the existing client portfolio and supporting quarterly reviews as well as retention and upsell proposals
  • Running handover meetings with the AM team postpitch covering campaign strategy. This will give the team an understanding of our proposed strategy to date, and how this strategy should develop over time through performance team activity.
  • Following up with performance teams at quarterly checkin points postpitch to ensure the live strategy is wellimplemented and targeted towards delivering the performance the client wants to see.
