ENGLISH TEACHER NEEDED FOR ASAP START

Full or Part-time / Permanent

ANDOVER


A small, vibrant and energising Secondary School in Andover area are looking to recruit a talented and effective teacher who is passionate about teaching English Language and English Literature.


This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic English teacher to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' school on a full or part-time basis.

The role will include teaching English across key stage 3 and 4. Successful educators will also be taking on full departmentalresponsibilities, including lesson planning and marking.

  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
  • Capable of planning for students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, and inspiring them to reach their full potential
  • A knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them to motivate students
  • A track record of positive impact upon student outcomes
  • Commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of delivering English Literature and/or English Language GCSE
  • Suitable schoolbased references
  • A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
