Mobile Van Sales Advisor required for Saltash based welding and industrial supplies distributor.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic individual to develop a new position within the company.

Alongside our long-established Trade Counter, stores, sales representatives, engineering department and delivery vans you will be taking our products on the road to the customers.

After training you will be working independently to represent the company out on the road, establish your own relationships with customers, stock and maintain your van and sell confidently to drive the business forward.

Your day will look like-
Using the stock list to top up your van

Visiting established customers as part of a daily round and engaging with new customers to grow your customer base

Processing customer purchases on your onboard laptop

Taking enquiries and liaising with your customers over the phone

General maintenance and cleaning of your van

Communicating with the office and sales staff regarding enquires, prospective customers and offering valuable feedback, insight, and ideas to drive the business forward

A confident, smart individual who excels at customer service

A team player who works well in a small, friendly team and takes pride in what they do

Experience in either sales, welding, automotive or a similar industry is desirable but equally enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and an outgoing personality are just as important


Requirements-
Clean full UK driving licence

Computer literate

Experience driving a LWB High Top sized vehicle


Desirable Experience-
A background in direct sales

Knowledge of welding machines or industry

Good geographical knowledge of Devon and Cornwall

Knowledge of business software for order processing, stock systems and customer management


Additional Information-
Working hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm including lunch break (flexible for occasional overtime)

28 days holiday p/a including bank holidays

Excellent work/life balance with no weekends/bank holidays and closed for an extended period over Christmas/New Year

This is a full time, permanent position available for immediate start.
