Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Staff to join our team on a flexible basis.

As part of our bank of staff, you will have the opportunity to work across various settings within our SEND provision, providing personalized support to children and young adults with diverse needs.

This role will involve assisting with personal care, implementing tailored educational activities, supporting individuals with behavioural challenges, and promoting positive social interactions.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with SEND and who are committed to providing exceptional care and support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide onetoone and group support to children and young adults with ASD, personal care needs, ADHD, SEMH, and other SEND requirements.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene routines, in a sensitive and respectful manner.
  • Support individuals in accessing educational activities and learning experiences, adapting activities to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviour's, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports, progress notes, and care plans, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children and young adults with ASD, personal care needs, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEND requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of best practices in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including behaviour management strategies and personal care techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity in all aspects of work.

£90.00-£95.00 per day
