RPS is looking for aSenior Hydrology Consultant to join our Environmental Team in various locations. We will be open to consider part-time or job share as well as professionals looking to return to work. RPS is a leading global multi-disciplinary consultancy.

What you'll be doing:
- Flood Risk Assessments
- Hydrological Analysis using FEH, WINFAP and ReFH
- Hydraulic Modelling using WinDes, Flood Modeller, TUFLOW etc.
- Supporting the preparation of Environment Statements
- Undertaking site walkovers and support site environmental sampling and monitoring programmes
- Undertaking literature and webbased research on technical issues
- Contributing to the development of the team by providing support and mentoring
Your skills and experience
- Strong technical understanding of the key sources of flooding and sustainable drainage
- Report writing and have knowledge of the UK environmental regulatory guidance
- Able to demonstrate complete knowledge of the NPPF, associated PPG and SuDS guidance, with a good understanding of the UK planning regime.
- Experience of Microdrainage / Infodrainage modelling and hydraulic modelling techniques (e.g. Flood Modeller Pro/Tuflow) an advantage;
- Environmental Science, Hydrology or similar degree, preferably with a related MSc;
