To implement all policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies.

• To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident sheets, risk assessments.
• To plan and deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0 to 5 years as outlined within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
• To ensure that the setting is safe, clean and provides a caring environment both indoor and outdoor that meets all children, staff and other's needs.
• To always liaise and work with all parents in a professional manner developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
• To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children's progress and encouraging parents' involvement.
• Develop and maintain good professional relationships and communications with parents, visitors and nursery staff to facilitate day to day caring needs.
• To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the management team.
• To support staff members with their key children support planning processes and contribute to children's focus week sheets.
• Work toward maintaining good and outstanding practice to ensure we continue to meet Ofsted requirements at all times.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the setting's Visions and Values.
• To attend all training courses as agreed with management team and complete all aspects of the apprenticeship, including meeting the minimum requirement of 20% off the job training, research and activity.
• To liaise with tutor/assessor linked to apprenticeship and keep management up to date with all aspects of the apprenticeship.
• To ensure all tasks and assignments set by training provider are completed within the set timeframe.
• To attend 6monthly supervisions with the management team.

Applicants do not need any experience, just a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. The only essential requirement is a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
