As a Healthcare assistant, you will be required to attend with the day-to-day care of residents and be able to work safely and effectively in line with company procedures and regulations.

Your duties as a Care Assistant:

  • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Helping patients with all aspects of personal care e.g., to wash, dress, eat etc.
  • To protect the residents from any harm or abuse.
  • Supporting with medication, mobility, and other care needs.
  • Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
  • Providing companionship.
  • Helping the residents remain active.
  • Abiding by health & safety standards.
  • Encourage & participate in daily activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all staff & residents.
  • Follow company procedures policies.

Essential Criteria

  • You must have the right to work within the UK.
  • Valid DBS certificate.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively and have strong listening ability.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
  • You need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people.
  • The ability to work as a part of a team or individually.
  • Be able to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Must be a compassionate person.
  • Must have a kindhearted and caring nature.

To be considered for the role of a Care Assistant, you will need:
Enhanced DBS certificate.
Theoretical & practical experience in moving and handling.
Completed all your mandatory training in Health & Social care.
Previous working experience as a care assistant.
