Pre-cast Concrete Plant Operative/labourer - Oakmere, United Kingdom - Electrafence Ltd

Due to the successful expansion of the company, Electrafence Ltd are looking for the right person to join its team in the manufacture of a variety of pre-cast concrete blocks for its newly formed manufacturing plant in Cheshire.

• Responsible for the daytoday management of the Static Concrete Mixer Unit.
• Setup, calibration and overall control of concrete mixes for different grade of mixes.
• Daytoday readiness of the concrete plant.
• Management of all materials including storage, ordering and monitoring of all stock on site.
• Manage the rotation of concrete moulds.
• The filling and turning out of moulds.
• Quality Assessment of finished products.
• Completion of Quality control monitoring and associated paperwork.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
• Following all company protocols, guidelines, Health & Safety and quality management processes.
• Maintain a good communication and working relationship with other contractors who share the overall site.

• Understand Quality Assessment and Health & Safety procedures.
• Hold a full driving licence and have their own transport to work.
• Have experience with using concrete and their formation, have an understanding of its properties and the importance of mix design.
• Must be able to both work as a member as a team and on their own when required.
• Have an attention to detail.
