Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Virtualisation and Infrastructure Specialist to join our core IT Services function within Experian, who manage and support the entire technical estate across UK&I.

This is a pivotal role in the team in which you will be primarily responsible for operational support, maintenance and project delivery within the virtual server and converged infrastructure solutions team.

You will also provide input into infrastructure strategy for future state and deliver high quality solutions There will be an equal focus on both service and security.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills - Core

Experience working in a large shared infrastructure environment (Server, Converged, Network, VMware)
HPE Server Hardware (Synergy/Oneview)
Experience in VMware 6/7/8 virtualisation and VRealise Suite V8.x
Site Recovery Manager
Strong understanding of networking concepts and administration and cloud platforms, ideally AWS

Technical Skills - Desirable

Disk Subsystems (HDS, HPE & EMC product suite)
SAN Switch directors (Brocade 48000, DCX85104 & 8)
Brocade Network advisor software & Fibre channel protocols
Replication software (Hitachi Replication Manager, RecoverPoint)
Strong Windows and Linux skills
