Have you supported children with SEMH needs?
This role is to support in a PRU (Pupil referral unit) in the Southampton area, working hours are 8:30-15-:30 Monday to Friday.
The ideal skills for this role are:
- Being calm and positive with pupils.
- Able to read and defuse situations.
- Confident in dealing with behaviour.
- Sympathetic and understanding of the needs of children.
- A positive role model for pupils.
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Be a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated individual
- Can provide a minimum of 2 references to cover the last 6 years of employment history
- Have relevant qualifications relating to supporting teaching and learning or children and young people
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
