The role
We have an exciting
permanent, full-time opportunity available for an experienced export sales professional to join our client and support their global operations

Our client are a leading manufacturer of high-quality precision cutting equipment, with a global sales presence in places such as the USA and Western Europe.


What's in it for you?:


  • Full-Time, Permanent role
  • 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- £28,000 - £33,000 pa dependant on experience

  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
  • Christmas bonus

Key accountabilities
Sales

  • Sales order processing
  • Managing freight and export activities
  • Ensuring freight forwarders continue to deliver a quality and costeffective service for our customers
  • Liaising with the production team to meet KPI requirements
Account Management

  • Servicing existing accounts and maintaining relationships
  • Identifying growth opportunities on smaller accounts
Project Support

  • Support and lead projects ranging from supply chain to market research
Marketing Support

  • Support with social media marketing
  • Support with the creation of training videos and execution

Skills & experience

Essential criteria:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and comfortable picking up and learning new systems (ERP software)
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Working to deadlines
  • Must demonstrate outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience of exporting from the UK and good knowledge of custom requirements
  • Can demonstrate they have account management and sales order processing experience.
  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities
  • The willingness to go that extra mile and challenge yourself daily
  • The drive and commitment to deliver high standards

Desirable criteria:

  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems
  • Incoterms experience
  • Knowledge of current UK export control regulations
  • Presentation skills delivering presentation to all levels
  • Project management / Lean methodology
  • Aftersales support
  • Multi language
