Accrued Plastic Ltd are looking to recruit a Slitting Machine Operator to join our team.

Accrued Plastic Ltd are a BRCGS certified flexible packaging supplier with wholesale, slitting and conversion facilities on site. We are also a well established and successful market leader in reclaim and recycling of plastic packaging products.

The role of Slitting Machine Operator will require the following skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability and willingness to work as an effective team member.
  • Clean and tidy approach to your work.
  • Conscientious and reliable.
  • Organised and motivated.
  • Able to manage your own time and workload effectively.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Operating bespoke machinery.
  • Weighing, labelling and packaging finished goods.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work station.
  • Completing relevant job sheets to a high and accurate standard.
  • Complying with BRCGS standards and procedures.
Previous Slitting or Machine Operator experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a full time permanent position, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.


Salary:
£10.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Yearly bonus

  • Burnley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
