Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Facilities and Maintenance team, delivering general maintenance support to our factory buildings based in Braintree, Essex.

Liaising with the Department Supervisor for daily tasks and Department Manager for special/additional requirements, you will be required to carry out general maintenance tasks and Health & Safety Compliance checks around the factory site.

These would include but not limited to plumbing, carpentry and woodwork, making good, decorating, collecting materials/equipment from suppliers all whilst ensuring a safe working environment.

Skills:
General Plumbing - mains water and WC
General Carpentry and Woodwork
Light building works ie, tiling, repairs etc
Painting & Decorating
General maintenance duties
Be self-motivated and organised and able to work on own as well in a team
Driving Licence
Fork Lift Truck Licence desirable but not essential

Hours of Work

Mon-Wed

7.30am - 4.00pm

24 hours per week

The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and to work the required hours to succeed in the role.
