The Role


For this role we are seeking an experienced, energetic, and engaging youth practitioner with a genuine interest in education and the empowerment of young people.

Someone who is interested in supporting young people to develop key money management skills and positive financial habits.

You will be delivering our financial education programmes, in a variety of locations across London, directly supporting young people to gain confidence,


Working closely with your delivery manager and the wider delivery team, this role will require you to use your broad range of experience, not just deliver, but to design and create new teaching materials and bring the content to life through your engaging delivery style, and passion to make a difference.


Joining MyBnk you will work alongside our friendly, supportive and experienced team of youth practitioners as part of an influential organisation which delivers evidenced positive outcomes for young people.


This includes:

Workshop Delivery

  • Delivering MyBnk Programmes to an exceptionally high standard; to young people in primary, secondary schools and colleges across London and accredited courses in youth organisations across London.
  • Confidently delivering programmes to young people/adults you're meeting for the first time with the ability to forge relationships quickly, ensuring learning outcomes are met through delivery that is clear, concise, energetic and relevant.
  • Effectively engaging diverse groups of learners, from different backgrounds with varying needs, This includes young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), English as an Additional Language (EAL), Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and those Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET).
  • Follow MyBnk processes in relation to safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
  • Processing student accreditations, with the support of MyBnk's Quality and Training team.

Programme and Curriculum Development

  • Developing and enhancing MyBnk programme curriculums and resources, creating new education content and keeping training materials up to date.
  • Informing the development of MyBnk programmes/workshops to ensure quality and impact.

MyBnks Wider work

  • Supporting outreach activities that directly targets young people/adults and those working with them
  • Working with the wider MyBnk team to support the effective and meaningful involvement and engagement of young people in wider MyBnk work. Supporting activities with young people/adults that allows Mybnk to plan, create and shape better quality services; meeting the needs of young people bringing new perspectives and influence.
  • Playing an active role in promoting and enabling high quality feedback loops to Q&T, M&E & other MyBnk departments.
  • Working with the wider MyBnk team to engage with key stakeholders such as funders, community groups, local authorities and supported housing organisations, actively supporting activities such as open days, taster sessions, corporate volunteering and networking events.

Other Responsibilities

  • Playing an active role promoting trainer cohesion, within your team, across London and with national trainers
  • Getting to know people within the education, local authority and community settings; building relationships, and giving presentations.
  • Becoming a part of the wider MyBnk delivery team, actively participating in forums, meetings and events, and sharing good practice.
  • Becoming an ambassador of MyBnk, upholding MyBnk's mission, ethos and reputation externally at seminars and events.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction and performance of MyBnk, specifically with regards to Education.

Person Specification

You must:


  • Be confident in engaging young people/adults you're meeting for the first time within different settings including mainstream classrooms, community centres, alternative education organisations (e.g. leaving care teams) and virtually, with the ability to forge relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Be able to effectively engage diverse groups
