Job Purpose:

  • To introduce an innovative brand and concept to the market, proactively driving sales
  • Build a database of new contacts and companies
  • Identify and develop new business leads and gain exposure of the brand in the local and surrounding markets.

  • A background in hospitality or running operational events
Job Responsibilities

  • Generate business and revenue opportunities through new clients by strategically and effectively devising and working through an aggressive sales plan to exceed targets Securing prebooked revenue prior to the opening of the business
Researching and contacting organisations and individuals to identify new leads revenue opportunities
Thorough understanding of the local market, competitor analysis and area knowledge Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities
Building rapport and creating sustainable professional relationships Cold calling potential customers
Introducing the business to both direct client organizations and agencies by telephone and face to face

  • Bypassing gatekeepers to identify decision makers and generate genuine leads
  • Utilising DueDil database, Linkedln and other social platforms to identify opportunities, generate leads and maintain client relationships
  • Arranging and conducting field trips to meet new clients, and familarisation trips to expose the venue to event bookers
  • Taking personal responsibility for achieving targets
  • Maintaining an uptodate database of all clients
  • Working with the inhouse marketing department to help devise creative campaigns and with the sales team to ensure leads are converted
