Description

Working at Phoenix you will be manufacturing a wide variety of components ranging from low batch bespoke work to medium batch quantities for production.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Proficient in operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Gcode or Mcode is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements using precision instruments
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
